Most loyalty programs require people to make specialty purchases. American Express had a different idea. Why not create a loyalty card that rewards people for making everyday purchases at the places they love shopping, including Macy’s, RiteAid, Exxon, AT&T, Mobil, Hulu and more? And allow cardholders to redeem their points anywhere they wanted? And so the Amex Plenti card was born. We were brought on from the very beginning to launch the program and see it through for the 3 years it remained in market.
Launch installation at the flagship Macy’s in Herald Square, NYC.
As the lead writer for Plenti, it was a great experience getting to write copy specific to each of their retail partners. And pretty fun to see this when I filled up en route to a bachelor party.
Our Time’s Square Billboard Ad. More on the functional side to be sure,
but still a thrill for the client and our team to get such great exposure.
To make a holiday splash we launched The 35 Days of Plenti, offering customers gifts and exclusive offers all season long.
